Winter has finally come! All at once, actually. Just a week ago, we went from having zilch to a foot and a half in about 2 days. Right, a foot and a half in two days. My dogs got a good taste of running in snow for a couple of runs too! Plowing their way through a few miles of unbroken trails was something new and exciting for them, as most of them have never been in this much snow before. True to their nature though, they handled it great and made some fantastic trails. On the down side, the trails are not packed enough to safely hold a snow hook, so we are still on ATV's for the time being. Lloyd predicts, however, that after a little grooming and some time, the trails should be hook-ready in a couple of days! Woohoo! I've already assembled my new sled and put fresh runner plastics on it...I am so ready!
