We made it!

On The Move
Yes, thats right. We made it. I've been a little late getting this update up...I quickly found out that Caribou Creek Racing is a busy place! The days are filled with dog runs, puppy walks, people coming and going, cooking (and eating!), and for me, school. The quietest times are first thing in the morning, especially the time between watering dogs and running teams. All in all, my stay here has been great. I get to run dogs, play with puppies, drink copious amounts of coffee, eat good food, and sleep in a comfortable bed...what's not to love? Budd fits right in here too...he has already won the status of "house dog", which he shares with Moses and Villa Rousa. As for my sled dogs, they are already getting whipped into shape, with the help of Lloyd & Mary's expertise. We are on a regular running schedule that consists of long, slow runs and shorter faster runs. I can already tell this is going to be a productive winter for my team and myself.

The drive out here was wonderful as well. We covered 5 states in 3 1/2 days! Wow, what a whirlwind drive. We covered almost 600 miles each day. Needless to say, we were exhausted when we got here! I got to see five new states and a lot of new country side along the way though, which was worth the long driving hours.
